Here the contractor did some parts of the refurbishment well and others not so well. There were doubts about wether he had obtained building regulation cosent in respect of electrical works in the kitchen or was an approved contractor capable of submitting a self certification certifcate.
Our surveyors found that this kitchen had uneven and unbonded floor coverings, units that were damaged or coming apart, out of plumb and out of level units, units with doors that would not open properly, and units held together with bits of timber and brackets that should not have been necessary.
